Tool Introduction

RTTS packer is a suspension type packer with a large diameter that can isolate bi-directional pressure. Designed for use in geological testing, acidification, and cementing operations.

Each specification of this packer tool includes a J-groove transposition mechanism, mechanical slip, packer rubber cylinder, and hydraulic anchoring mechanism. The hydraulic anchoring mechanism can prevent the tool from being pushed up when the pressure at the lower part of the packer is too high. These packers are also equipped with friction blocks, which can provide a support point for the entire tool string, allowing the entire tool string to be stably lowered to the specified position.

② The tool comes with a hydraulic anchor mechanism to prevent the packer from rising when the pressure at the bottom of the packer is too high, such as during acid pressure and extrusion operations;

operation

The groove under the packer is placed in the locked position. When the tool reaches the testing position and is ready to operate, first lower the tool slightly below the seating position, then lift the tool up to the seating position and rotate the column to the right for several turns. In the wellbore, the tool only needs to rotate 1/8 turn, maintain the torque on the column to the right, and lower the weight of the column until the mechanical slip of the packer begins to bear the weight of the column. At the same time, the rubber cylinder is compressed tightly against the inner wall of the casing, ensuring that the tool separates the testing layer and the annulus. The tool comes with a hydraulic anchor mechanism to prevent the packer from being pushed upward when the pressure at the lower part of the packer is too high. When the pressure at the lower part of the packer is too high, the pressure enters the annular space between the volume tube, the lower shaft, and the hydraulic anchor body through the four radial holes on the lower shaft, and reaches the hydraulic anchor slip, which compresses the spring hydraulic anchor slip to support the casing wall and prevent the tool from moving upward.

When unsealing, the circulation valve must be opened first to balance the pressure above and below the packer. After the hydraulic anchor slip is retracted, the pipe string can be lifted to unseal the packer, and the protrusion on the lower shaft will automatically slide into the J-shaped groove locking position.
