As a temporary well closure tool, storm valves are usually used for offshore operations. When storm weather occurs on offshore platforms or ground equipment needs maintenance, they can achieve temporary well closure without the need to lift drill pipes or oil pipes, providing sufficient control and protection.

The storm valve is usually connected to the upper end of the packer, which seals the annulus between the tubing and casing. The storm valve seals the diameter of the tubing string, and the combination of the two can ensure that the annulus and diameter of the oil and gas well are sealed.

① By lifting and rotating the pipe column, the well can be closed, released, and reconnected for easy and reliable operation; The sealing structure design with large cross-section and multiple sealing rings ensures reliable sealing performance;

When going down the well, the storm valve is in the open state (the circulation shaft is aligned with the sealing shaft circulation hole, and the claw is in the contracted state). When it is necessary to close the well and release it, if the left-hand column is turned 12 ± 1 circle, the well can be closed. Continue to turn the left-hand column 11 ± 1 circle and lift the column up to release the release. When it is necessary to reconnect and open the well again, connect the recovery short joint on the column and lower it to the storm valve. Turn the right-hand column 23 ± 1 circle to complete the reconnection and opening of the well. In the underground, the column needs to rotate about 23 ± 1 circle to complete the well closure and release or reconnection.
