Tool Introduction

RTTS safety connector is a safety tool. When the packer is stuck, the RTTS safety joint can be used to help extract the pipe column above the safety joint. The application of this tool can reduce losses and also obtain data and information obtained from formation testing.

operation

When disconnecting the operating tool, first apply a lifting force to the pipe column until it reaches the breaking value of the pull sleeve to break the pull sleeve. Then, turn the pipe column to the right and place it in place. Then, lower the pipe column and turn it to the right. Repeat the process of lifting the pipe column to the right, then lowering it to the right, and finally disconnecting it for about one turn. Repeat the process until the thread is completely disconnected. When salvage is needed, a specialized salvage tool should be inserted and engaged with the thread of the RTTS safety joint outer cylinder. The rotary type salvage tool needs to reverse the pipe column to connect with the safety joint, while the claw type salvage tool can press down on the pipe column to connect with the safety joint, making it more convenient to use.
