Tool Introduction

The full bore shaker is a safety tool. When the testing tool string is stuck, the shaker can be used to first shake the string to release it. This shaker first applies a tensile force to the string, and then when the drill rod in the string is stretched, the tensile force on the shaker is suddenly released, causing the drill rod to contract and an impact to act on the stuck tool. If multiple shakes are needed, the shaker can be repeatedly operated to repeat the above process to obtain release.

The shock absorber in the testing tool string is used to loosen the tool and release it when the testing tool string is stuck. The principle of this function of the shock absorber is to temporarily bear the tension on the string, and then when the drill rod in the string is stretched, the tension on the shock absorber is suddenly released, the drill rod shrinks, and an impact is applied to the stuck tool. If multiple shocks are needed, the shock absorber can be repeatedly operated to repeat the above process to obtain release. The function of the shock absorber to withstand short-term tensile force is provided by a hydraulic delay system within the shock absorber. When the delayed measuring sleeve moves to the larger inner diameter part of the outer cylinder, causing hydraulic specialized oil to flow through the outside of the measuring sleeve, the ability to withstand the tension of the pipe column is lost, that is, the delay ends. The delay time varies with the magnitude of the tension applied to the tool. The smaller the tension, the longer the time required for unloading.
