High pressure leak proof valve is a completion tool used for protecting the formation environment and preventing contamination during oil reservoir operations; Often installed below permanent recyclable completion packers, it can serve as a barrier to isolate the reservoir during lower well completion operations, improving wellbore safety. Additionally, since the isolated reservoir is not contaminated by completion fluid, the leak proof valve can increase oil well production and simplify well completion operations.

Structural characteristics

① The ball valve switch mechanism can isolate the reservoir when closed and maintain full bore when opened, without affecting the normal production of the oil well;

② Special switch tool, lifting the pipe column can close the ball valve, isolate the reservoir and achieve release, and pressing the pipe column can open the ball valve and restore the full diameter for normal production. Mechanical operation is reliable and convenient, achieving multiple well opening and closing;

③ The large diameter design allows for the entry or extraction of other operational equipment while the formation is sealed off.

When in use, the leak proof valve is usually installed under the packer. During the downhole process, the leak proof valve is in the open state. When operating, lift the pipe column, close the ball valve, isolate the formation, and achieve release; When it needs to be opened again, use a specialized switch tool to lower the pipe column and press down on the pipe column to open the ball valve and restore the full diameter for production. When it is necessary to shut in the well, simply lift the pipe string again.
