Tool Introduction

RD enhanced safety circulation valve is a disposable full bore safety circulation valve used for operating under annular pressure in casing wells. This tool is mainly used to seal off oil and gas reservoirs and perform circulation operations at the end of formation testing. At the same time, a section of formation fluid sample is trapped between the ball valve of the valve and the ball valve of the testing valve. In underground operations, the valve cannot be opened again after being closed. As a safety valve, the tool can be operated at any time during testing to block the test string. If the four circulation holes of the valve are blocked, it can be used as a disposable shut-off valve.

① The design of the air chamber gives it high strength and can withstand an absolute pressure of at least 200MPa;

② Using a rupture disc instead of a shear pin ensures accurate and reliable operating pressure;

③ The shearing mechanism can ensure that the tool status is not affected by the dynamic pressure during the downhole process;

④ Connected to the upper part of the test valve, it can be used as a backup shut in valve underground;

The operating pressure of the reinforced safety circulation valve is usually set within the range of 1000-1500psi above the operating pressure of other tools. The reinforced safety circulation valve is operated by the annular pressure acting on the rupture disk. The annular pressure is applied to break the shear pin of the rupture disk, and at the same time, the ball valve of the core shaft is closed, the circulation hole is opened, and the communication between the inside and outside of the pipe is achieved to achieve cyclic operation.
