PT packer is a pressurized seat sealing card type packer, suitable for casing wells; The packer is equipped with a bypass, which has a large bypass area, making it easy for fluid to pass through during drilling, and balancing the pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the packer when unsealing.

The PT packer consists of three parts: bypass section, sealing element, and slip assembly.

When the packer is lowered to the predetermined well depth, the pipe string should be lifted up first to make the protruding ear at the lower position of the short groove. The pipe string should be rotated 1-3 times to the right, and while maintaining torque, the pipe string should be lowered to apply load. The vertebral body should descend, the slip should be opened, the bypass should be closed, and the packer seat should be sealed; When unsealing, lift the tubing string, apply tensile load, open the bypass, raise the vertebral body, retract the clamp, and unseal the packer.
