Tool Introduction

The Y211 packer belongs to the unidirectional slip track mechanical packer, which uses the slip as the fulcrum and relies on the gravity of the lowered pipe column to seat and seal. Used for layered oil testing, water finding, water plugging, chemical plugging, acidification and other processes, especially suitable for processes that are not suitable for rotating pipe columns. If the packer needs to withstand high downforce, it needs to be used in conjunction with hydraulic anchors. During operation, the up and down movement of the pipe column is utilized to slide the track pin from the short groove into the long groove, causing relative motion between the slip and the conical wedge surface. The opened slip is tightly clamped onto the inner wall of the casing, achieving anchoring. When lowering, the weight of the pipe column partially seals the rubber cylinder. Simply lift the pipe column to unseal.

operation

The tool is connected to the pipe column, the slip ring pin is in the short track position, and the packer can be smoothly lowered into the well. Go down to the designated position, lift up and lower the pipe column to replace the slip ring pin from the short track to the long track, continue to lower, the cone opens the slip, clamps the casing wall, and then lowers again. The steel ball compresses the spring into the radial hole on the outer circumference of the spindle, compresses the rubber cylinder, and seals the oil ring annulus. Generally, the sealing force is less than 5 tons. After completing the homework, simply lift the pipe column and it can be unsealed directly.
