Tool Introduction

This packer can be used for construction processes such as layered water injection, layered acidification, layered plugging, and layered fracturing in oil fields, and can be used in conjunction with tools such as throttle valves and hydraulic anchors. After the packer is lowered to the predetermined position, pressure is applied from inside the pipe column, and the hydraulic pressure pushes the clearance generated by the displacement of the piston into the inner cavity of the rubber cylinder, causing the rubber cylinder to expand. After the sealing is completed, the piston returns to its original position to close the inlet clearance, and the packer does not unseal when the pressure is stopped.

When unsealing is required, lift the tubing string, cut the shear pin, discharge the liquid from the packer chamber into the tubing chamber, unseal the packer, and after unsealing, it cannot be resealed.

When sealing, pressure is applied from inside the oil pipe. When a certain pressure is reached, the piston opens and compresses the spring to move downward, while opening the liquid inlet channel of the rubber cylinder. The liquid in the central pipe enters the rubber cylinder cavity, causing the rubber cylinder to expand and achieve the sealing of the annular space of the oil sleeve. When the pressure inside the oil pipe reaches equilibrium with the pressure inside the rubber cylinder, the piston returns to its original position under the action of spring elasticity. At the same time, there is a sealing rubber sleeve on the upper part of the piston for sealing. The liquid entering the rubber cylinder under the dual action of the spring and sealing rubber sleeve is always sealed inside the rubber cylinder before unsealing, ensuring that the rubber cylinder does not shrink and maintaining the sealing effect of the packer rubber cylinder.

When unsealing, the upper lifting oil pipe string first cuts off the unsealing shear pin, and then continues to lift the pipe string to drive the central pipe to continuously move upward. When the pressure relief hole at the lower part of the central pipe passes through the lower part of the rubber cylinder seat, the liquid in the rubber cylinder is discharged into the annular space of the oil casing through the pressure relief hole, and the rubber cylinder undergoes elastic deformation to recover and contract, thereby achieving the unsealing of the packer.
